This policy explains what House Color Visualizer collects when you use House Color Visualizer, why, and how to have it deleted. Short version: we keep your house photo and renders so your history works, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete everything.

What we collect

  • Your house photo. We remove location data and other photo metadata (EXIF) when you upload it.
  • The renders we create from it, and the colors and options you chose.
  • Your email address, if you give it to us (for the free render, a purchase, a sign-in link or a message).
  • Purchase records from Stripe (what you bought, when, the amount). We never see your full card number.
  • A cookie that keeps your session, so this browser can find your renders. It is required for the service to work.
  • Basic usage events (for example "render started" or "result viewed") without your email, photo or prompts, to improve the service.
  • Short-lived, hashed network information used only to prevent abuse and enforce free limits.

How we use it

To create and show your renders, keep your render history and purchases, send emails you asked for (receipts, sign-in links, replies), prevent abuse, and understand how the service is used so we can improve it. We do not use your photos for advertising and never add them to our public examples.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We use a small number of service providers that process data on our behalf:

  • Our image engine and storage provider, which stores your photo and renders and creates the renders.
  • Stripe, for payments.
  • Our hosting provider, and if enabled, our email provider and a privacy-respecting analytics provider.

They may only use your data to provide their service to us. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your photos and renders while your account is in use so your history and downloads keep working. Ask us any time and we will delete them.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or to stop receiving emails, by writing to hello@housecolorvisualizer.com from the email you used. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
